Jeff Kerr is an Austin-based filmmaker raised in Houston, Texas. After earning an engineering degree from Rice University in 1979 he attended medical school at Texas A&M. Twenty years into a career as a pediatric neurologist, Kerr authored several books, including the award-winning "Seat of Empire: The Embattled Birth of Austin, Texas." Film credits include the documentary The Last of the Moonlight Towers and the feature thriller "Writer's Block."Jeff lives in Austin with his wife Sharon. Hide
