Helmi Dridi, actor born in Tunis in 1980, began his career as an actor in amateur theater at the age of 17. He continued his acting training at the Higher Institute of Dramatic Art in Tunis, while proving himself in the professional theater in plays such as "Waiting for Godot" by Lassad Ben Abdallah, "Guernica" by Hassan Mouadhen, "Let us talk in silence" or "Hostages" by Ezzedine Gannoun.He made his debut as an actor in cinema with Nouri Bouzid "Clay Dolls", "Making Of". His meeting with the French director Jacques Malaterre in 2006 is decisive.
